Permits must be obtained before you set up
camp at all Qld. Government Parks & Wildlife camp sites,
including Double Island and Fraser Island. It is an offence to set up your camp without a permit
and penalties apply. You may receive an on the spot fine of
$75 if you do not have a camping permit when the Rangers visit
your camp.

3. Visit the QPWS Great Sandy Information Centre (100 metres
from the Noosa River Ferry at Tewantin) or the Rainbow Beach
QPWS Office (7am - 4pm)

you next visit, please obtain your permit before you set up
camp.
